Many years ago, Brent Jones and Phil Durham began what has evolved into the Service Transport, Inc. that we know today. In January of 1990, the operation began with just one truck and driver. While Brent manned the phones, Phil made sales calls and vice-versa. The customers across the upstate of South Carolina were very good to these two �Good 'ole Boys� from Greer, South Carolina and the company they began grew and prospered. Additional equipment was purchased, new employees were hired, assets grew and their customer�s freight made it to destination, time after time, on time.

As the customer base grew, it became apparent to Phil and Brent that outstanding SERVICE is what the customers needed most. The direction of the company was to offer faster transit times, exceptional customer service and going above and beyond what the competition was willing to do. This meant first-class, clean equipment, professional, courteous, uniformed drivers, knowledgeable office and sales personnel, on-time pickups and deliveries and COMMUNICATION throughout every step of the journey.

Fourteen years later, Service Transport, Inc. continues to grow thanks to our dedicated staff of employees and all the many customers throughout the country who allow STI to assist in their transportation needs daily. We thank you and appreciate each and every one of you.
